Buttermilk

  • Parks & Pipes: Two terrain parks in total. Buttermilk Park has more than 100 features including a 22-foot superpipe and an X Games slopestyle course. Beginners can learn at the Ski & Snowboard Schools Park (S3 Park).

From beginners to professionals, Buttermilk is a mountain for everyone, offering gentle slopes and breathtaking views. This welcoming playground is home to The Hideout, one of North America’s premier ski and snowboard learning centers, where children and beginners can discover the joy of winter sports. Whether you're exploring the terrain park, trying uphilling for the first time, or mastering the flowing, easygoing runs, Buttermilk is all about learning and play. It’s the same friendly terrain that world-class athletes conquer during top-tier events, making Buttermilk a mountain that inspires all levels.


Snowmass

  • Parks & Pipes: Three terrain parks total, perfect for all levels of riding. Drop into the superpipe at the Snow Park Technologies-designed Snowmass Park; practice in the quarterpipe at Makaha Park; or try the easier rails to learn the basics in Lowdown Park.
  • Restaurants: Elk Camp, Lynn Britt Cabin (lunches and snowcat dinner rides), Sam’s, Two Creeks Café, Ullrhof, Up 4 Pizza, High Alpine, and Alpin Room.
