Lost Forest

Lost Forest, located at Elk Camp Snowmass, is only open during the summer.

Tucked away in the natural beauty of a Snowmass experience is an adventure of an extraordinary kind: Lost Forest. It's an immersive world complete with biking and hiking trails, a zipline, ropes course, climbing wall, and high-speed alpine coaster.

Canopy Run Zipline Tours
Clip in, hang on, and take the ride of your life as you soar through the trees and meadows of Snowmass. With seven ziplines, three sky bridges, and platforms mounted in the treetops, this guided experience lasts a minimum of three hours.

Treeline Trial Challenge Course
Combining rappels, ziplines, bridges, and ladders for a thrilling obstacle course through the trees, learn to trust your instincts, conquer your fears, and surprise yourself. This high ropes course offers five different paths at five different difficulties, and takes you 40 feet into the air. Along the way, you’ll tackle all sorts of physical and mental feats, all under a guide’s watchful eye and a constant belay system.

Breathtaker Alpine Coaster
Wind through more than a mile of forest on an elevated track at speeds of up to 28mph. Guests at least 54 inches (137cm) tall can round out their summer trip by chasing thrills at Elk Camp on Snowmass.

Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall
Reach new heights on the custom climbing wall with auto-belay that lets you challenge yourself safely on dozens of routes of varying difficulty. Whether you’re a beginner or a dedicated wall rat, this is the perfect place to diversify your mountain getaway.

Bike Rentals

We offer complimentary bike rentals during the summer and fall seasons. Please enjoy them for 4 hours at a time.

Outdoor Lap Pool

Our outdoor heated and saline lap pool is available by reservation. The outdoor hot tub is available on a first-come, first-served basis The pool is located at the Health Center.

Wildlife Scavenger Hunt

Our wildlife scavenger hunt is perfect for younger adventurers identifying shapes, colors and touch points. Gather your family, rent a polaroid camera from the front desk and set out to explore our 40-acres to search for natural items across our campus. Little explorers who finish the hunt will be rewarded with a sweet prize from our front desk team.

Half Court Basketball

Open 7 days a week - 7 am to 9 pm and located at the Health Center, guests enjoy access to our indoor gymnasium complete with basketball, perfect for a family game.

Art Scavenger Hunt

Explore the deep connection between art and nature across our campus. Did you know between 1953 and 1973, artist, sculptor and architect, Herbert Bayer, wove outdoor walkways through his landscape architecture, known as “earthworks”? With our grounds rich in architecture and outdoor sculptures, your family can use clues to find special works of art. Rent out a polaroid camera from the front desk to document each finding. Once completed, visit the front desk to collect a special prize.

Gather your family, rent a polaroid camera from the front desk and set out to explore our 40-acres to search for natural items across our campus. From bird watching to rock balancing and more, our scavenger hunts encourage guests to absorb the beauty that surrounds us including the Roaring Fork River and dreamy sunsets over the mountains.

Named after Herbert Bayer (1900–1985)—an influential modern artist and designer who worked at the Bauhaus before relocating to Aspen in 1946—the Bayer Center honors his interdisciplinary perspective by promoting an understanding of art and design through exhibitions and public programming

Health Center
Health Center

The Health Center is open from 7am to 9pm every day and has TRX, cardio and weight equipment, a Peloton bike, steam rooms, an outdoor heated saline lap pool, a hot tub, as well as a half court indoor gymnasium with basketball.
